Pocket Parks are small oases in urban settings. This Pocket Park, located at the rear side of a future apartment building at 500 Western Avenue, was designed as a playful respite for the neighborhood it serves in Brighton. With southwest exposure the park will have plenty of warm sunny locations, and the proposed shade trees will provide shade in key locations to keep visitors cool on hot days. A playful circular motif is evident in the patio shapes, the platform seating, and universal swing.
