Verdant designed the landscape for this mixed use residential development with frontages along E Street, West 1st Street, and West 2nd Street. In addition to preserving existing street trees, more public realm improvements are proposed along each of the three streets. The desired outcomes for streetscape improvements include increasing pedestrian safety, promoting alternate modes of transportation, and increasing the Urban Forest. The southeast corner of the lot was designated as a public park which serves to benefit not only the residents, but the general public, and community/non-profit organizations which are anticipated to occupy space on the ground floor.
