Verdant worked with LCB Senior Living and The Architectural Team to design an independent and assisted living senior residence at a former industrial site in Melrose, Massachusetts. The outdoor program for residents includes a Butterfly Garden at the entry, a short walking path around an open lawn area, an outdoor dining area, as well as a Roofdeck courtyard garden for memory-impaired residents overlooking the site. The centerpiece of the project is the public pocket park Rose Garden featuring granite benches, birch trees and rose shrubs and perennials.
