The site of the Onyx multi-family development is located at the corner of Friend and Silsbee Streets, a short distance from the commuter rail station and Broad Street in Lynn. The development is surrounded by various residential developments and community service buildings; including a public elementary school down the street. The project consists of 181 residential units with some commercial space on the ground floor. A majority of the proposed outdoor space is designed above the garage podium with a smaller outdoor space for residents located over the first floor amenity and commercial space. The plaza on the ground floor will function as a shared public outdoor gathering space for both the commercial and residential units.
