Verdant worked with LCB Senior Living and The Architectural Team to design an independent and assisted living senior residence at a former commercial site in Easton, Massachusetts.  The site is adjacent to wetlands and required careful arrangement of site improvements to avoid the wetland resource areas. The outdoor program for residents includes raised gardens with an adjacent shaded seating area below a gazebo, sunny and shady outdoor terraces with an adjacent perennial butterfly garden, seating overlooking the wetland and an exercise path through the garden and landscaped grounds.  An enclosed garden is provided for Alzheimer and memory impaired residents.
