Located at the Gateway to the Newmarket neighborhood of Boston, this project consists of a proposed 9-story office/lab building and ground level retail. Currently void of trees, the plans incorporate 29 new tree plantings on site as well as 5 additional tree plantings in the improved public realm streetscape. A welcoming entry plaza rests at the southern corner of the site, facing the busy street intersection of Melnea Cass Boulevard, Southhampton and Bradston Streets. Smart surface strategies are utilized including cool-pavement coatings over the asphalt loading zone and permeable pavers at pedestrian plaza areas.
